Galvanized Steel Frame

Used with: Light Duty Aluminum Traffic Door, Light Duty Traffic Door and Medium Duty Traffic Door

Construction: Constructed of tubular 16-gauge galvanized steel, pre-drilled for hardware, the vertical members are placed on the floor and header section slides into position, fastening to the vertical sections with four bolts.

Finish: Prime Painted Gray

Galvanized Steel Frames are ideal for drywall constructed walls, but can also be used in block walls and have the most aesthetic appeal, if that is important to your project. These frames have internal steel reinforcement, ship knock-down, and are quickly installed. This Galvanized Steel frame can be butt mounted on block or wrapped onto drywall applications.

Note: Your rough opening needs to be 2.75” wider and 1” higher than your finished opening in order to accommodate this frame. Order frame based on inside finished dimensions.

C-Channel Frame

Used with: Medium Duty Wood Core Traffic Door, Medium Duty Insulated Wood Core Traffic Door, Heavy Duty Retail Traffic Door, Freezer Impact Door, Washdown Impact Door, Medium Duty ABS Impact Door and Medium Duty Impact Door

Construction: Constructed of carbon steel, pre-drilled for hardware, the header assembly includes internal reinforcement plates that fasten to the side members when the door in installed.

Finish: Powder Coated Gray

C-Channel Frames are designed for applications where structural reinforcement is not required. The frames come pre-drilled for specified hardware, and are shipped in three easy-to-assemble pieces. The frame is installed into the rough opening and will wrap the exposed walls. The frame is anchored to the jamb and for the following doors, the frame comes standard with “feet” to anchor to the floor for added stability:

  • Freezer Impact Door
  • Washdown Impact Door
  • Medium Duty ABS Impact Door
  • Medium Duty Impact Door

Note: Your rough opening needs to be 1.25” wider and .625” higher than your finished opening in order to accommodate this frame. Order frame based on inside finished dimensions.

Construction: Constructed of tubular steel, pre-drilled for hardware, the vertical members are place on the floor and header section slides into position, fastening to the vertical sections with four bolts.

Finish: Powder Coated Gray

Structural Tube Frames are designed for use where the door(s) cannot be supported by the existing wall, heavy duty industrial applications, and are an excellent choice for block walls. The frame is shipped in three easy-to-assemble pieces. The frame is butt installed into the rough opening and anchored to the floor and jamb. The frames come pre-drilled for specified hardware.

Note: Your rough opening needs to be 4.25” wider and 2.1875” higher than your finished opening in order to accommodate this frame. Order frame based on inside finished dimensions.
